Biografy:Tiziana Serrani was born in Terni on May 11th, 1969.
She graduated in law on July 23rd, 1993 at La Sapienza University in Rome, marks 110/110 cum laude; her degree thesis in Financial Science and Law concerned “The Economic Value of Human Life”.
She has been a lawyer since January 16, 1997.
She is an expert in Labour Law. Since July 1993 she cooperated with specialized law firms in matters concerning labour, union and social security law, and she carried out judicial and extra judicial activity for businesses and companies acting all over Italy in the publishing, trade and hotel fields, for political parties and unofficial societies, associations, agencies of public services and trade organizations.
She has been a member of several courts of arbitration deliberating about civil law matters. She has been a member of the Federal Appeal Committee (former Disciplinary body) of the FIDS (Italian Federation for Dance Sport).
Mrs. Serrani has been cooperating with Pessi Law Firm since February 2001. She has been a partner since March 1st, 2002, a Senior Partner since January 1st, 2004 and an Associate since March 19th, 2007. Her activity concerns judicial and extrajudicial consultancy and assistance about matters of labour, union and social security law for primary banks and credit institutions, companies and businesses operating in the energy, telecommunication, catering, air transport and service industries.
Mrs Serrani has been a speaker in several daily study meetings and training courses organized by specialised companies. She spoke in the Convention “Advantages and Enforcement Criteria of the New Project Contract” held by CEIDA (Higher School for Public Administration and Local Boards) in Rome in 2004, and she coordinated the workshop in the same convention; she spoke in seminars organized by TIM S.P.A. in Milan, Bologna and Rome in 2004 on the topic “Remote Surveillance of Subordinates “ and she participated to Labour Law courses held by IPASVI (Italian National Association of Nurses’ Boards) in academic years 2004/2005 and 2007/2008.
She is cooperating with UTET for the drawing up of their hypertextual Labour Law Code.
Mrs Serrani lived in U.S.A. (Los Angeles, CA.) from 1978 until 1984.
She has a “IV Niveau” (4th level) certificate in French that she obtained at the Centre d’Etudes Saint Louis.
