Biografy:Roberto Pessi was born in Rome on April 30th, 1948.

Professor of Labour and Social Security Law at the Faculty of Law of the LUISS University “Guido Carli” in Rome since academic year 2003/2004.
Professor of Labour and Social Security Law at the Faculty of Economics and Trade of the “Tor Vergata” University in Rome since academic year 1990/1991.
He has been a lawyer in the Court of appeal since June 1987. He founded the Pessi and Associates Law Firm.
Professor of Labour Law at the Faculty of Law in the University of Macerata since academic year 1986/1987.
He was staff manager of the STET Group between June 1983 and October 1986.
He is the Labour Councillor of the Apostolic See.
He has been the Chairman of the Administrating Board of the Solidarity Fund for the Support of the Income of the former Subordinates of the Autonomous Administration of the State Monopoly” from 2002 until 2006.
He has been decorated with the title of honours “High Officer of the Italian Republic” on September 3rd, 2002.
He has been decorated with the title of honours “Knight of the Grand Cross of the Italian Republic” on June 13th, 2005.
