Biografy:Giovanni Giuseppe Gentile, born in Catania on March 8th, 1941, graduated in Law in Rome University with a first class degree in 1964.
He has been a lawyer since 1967 and qualified for superior magistracy in 1980.
Former Legal Office CEO in Enel S.p.a.
Former contract Professor in ‘Law and economics of energy resources’ in LUISS University in Rome for twenty years.
Gentile has been director of the review ‘La rassegna giuridica dell’energia elettrica’ ( The Law Review of Electric Energy ) from 1987 to 2002.
Since 2006 he has been a professor in the School for Professions of La Sapienza University in Rome.
Gentile is member of AIDLASS and of the Directive Council of the National Centre of Labour Law Studies “Domenico Napoletano”.
Gentile has been a lecturer, or a session president in many national and international congresses.
He held lectures in many universities in Italy (Rome, Bologna, Viterbo), and abroad (Madrid).
