Biografy:Annalisa Pessi, born in Rome on 24th Sept. 1974, graduated in Law on 27th Jan 1997 in ‘La Sapienza’ University in Rome. Her thesis in private law concerning “The Preliminary agreement”, won her a graduation mark of 110/110 with merit.
Winner, in 1998-1999, of a three-year scholarship in the Specialization School of La Sapienza University in Rome in Union Law, Labour and Social Security Law, she specialized “cum Laude”, in December 2001, writing her degree thesis about “Non-profit Organizations and Labour Law”.
Scholarship winner in 1998-1999 for the Ph.D. “Compared Social Securiy Law and Welfare State Reform “ in Federico II University in Naples, she completed her Ph.D. on June 10th 2004, writing the dissertation "Additional Social Security in Italy and UK".
Annalisa Pessi has been a lawyer since November 2000.
From April 1st 1998, to September 1st of the same year, she worked as an apprentice lawyer in Baker & McKenzie Law Firm in London and from 1998 to 1999 she continued her apprenticeship in Baker & McKenzie Law Firm in Rome.
She has been cooperating with Pessi and Associated Law Firm since November 1999 and has been a Junior Associate in the professional association Pessi & Associated Law Firm since 2007.
During 1997 and 1998 Annalisa Pessi cooperated on a voluntary basis with Professor Antonio Masi in the Private Law Chair of La Sapienza University in Rome, Faculty of Law.
During 2003 she cooperated on a volutary basis with Professor Mattia Persiani in the Labour Law Chair in La Sapienza University in Rome, Faculty of Law.
She has been a professor in an integrative course in Professor Giampiero Proia’s Labour Law Chair in Roma Tre University during the academic years 2001-2002; 2002-2003; 2003-2004; 2004-2005; 2005-2006; 2006-2007.
Annalisa Pessi was a member of the team for the research "The Court of Appeal’s contribution to Labour Law transformation” commissioned to Roma Tre University by the Ministry of Labour in the years 2002, 2003 and 2004.
She was a member of the work group “Labour Controversies”, commissioned to Roma Tre University by the Ministry of Labour during a course-with-examination in Fiuggi on November 3, 2003.
She was, moreover, member of the research team about: ”The Management of Subordinate Relationships in Companies facing a crisis” in Teramo University, Dipartimento di scienze giuridiche privatistiche (Private Law Science Department) in 2004/2005.
Annalisa Pessi won a scholarship for university researcher in the Faculty of Economics in the Tor Vergata University of Rome in the competitive examination published with Decree dated March 23,2007. The regularity of the proceedings was confirmed by the Dean of Tor Vergata University on April 24, 2008.
